With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ertem Merey Beckman of Dewittville, New York, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Necdet Merey and Kamuran Ozer Merey; her grandfather Yusuf Ziya Ozer; her husband Robert Beckman; her daughter Renan; her brothers, Bobur Ozer, Turul Ozer and Ugur Merey; and her nephew Kenan Merey.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter Beckman (Kendall) of Wakefield, RI and Orhan Beckman (Marcia) of Jupiter, FL; her grandchildren, Emily (Christopher) of Rochester, NY, Peter Wills of Rochester, NY, Merai Beckman of Wakefield, RI, Tayler Beckman (Linh) of Boston, MA and Renan Beckman of State College, PA; her great grandchildren, Eleanor, William and Diana; and her brother Tosun (Maria) of Germany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
