It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gilbert Hatheway of Dewittville, New York, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. Hatheway and Lucille E. Wagner Hatheway (Wagner); and his brothers, Donald J. Hatheway and Stephen Hatheway. He is survived by : his wife Jeanne Colvin Hatheway; his siblings, Richard of Wylie, TX and Ann of Erie, PA; his children, John Hatheway (Kim), Mary Hatheway (Lynne), James Hatheway (Chris) and Karen Bowman (Carl); his grandchildren, Brian Hatheway (Sharon), Ian Hatheway, Lauren Hatheway and Jessica Burkhart (Brett); his great grandchildren, Aubrey Hatheway and Caleb James Burkhart; and his close friend Ken Herman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
