He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Stevens and Eleanor Stevens (Burrows); and his brother Roger Burriss. He is survived by: his daughter Tina M.; his son-in-law John Blackwell of Glen Park, NY; his sons, Art Stevens of Oswego, NY and Terry (Bridget Stevens); his grandchildren, Julee, David, Madison Blackwell, Amanda Nelson, Samantha McCoy, Benjamin Stevens and Ember Stevens; his great grandchildren, Laramee, Zoey, Alicia, Reyann and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Joyce Halladay of Lowville, NY, Doug Stevens, Linda Hoskins-Carr of Lyons Falls, NY, Michael Hoskins, Rhudell Burriss of Lowville, NY and Jeffrey Hoskins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a very special girlfriend.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (237 William St, Dexter, NY 13634). The military honors was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
