It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Louis Lavit Jr. of Diamond Point, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry L. Lavit and Helene J. Lavit (Hedges Clark); his children, Alicia M. Lavit, Keith H. Lavit and Todd H. Lavit; his grandchildren, Callie E. Lavit, Forest R. Lavit, Corrina R. Lavit, Iyah K. Lavit and Milo C. Lavit; his former wife Elizabeth A. Culver; his brother Howard G. Lavit; his former wife Joan; and also, Blair Keller and Michael Zitolo.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in Henry's honor to the SPCA of Upstate New York in Queensbury, NY or your local volunteer fire department.
