She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Cohen and Minnie Cohen; her husband Murray Adelman; her friend Alvaro Scaduto; and her sisters, Pearl Eisenstat, Muriel Palazzo (Mickie) and Estelle Cortes (Skippy).

She is survived by : her sister Greta Beckerman; her sons, Steven Adelman of Plano, TX and Richard Adelman (Alice) of Irvington, NY; and her grandchildren, Joseph Adelman (Sarah) of Framingham, MA, Michael Adelman (Melinda) of Rochester, NY, Sarah Adelman (Pat) of Boston, MA, Brian Adelman (Shayna) of Deerfield, IL, Mark Adelman (Brittany) of Stamford, CT and Patrick Adelman of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home (64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Home of Richard and Alice (11 Algonquin Dr, Irvington, NY 10533).
