She was predeceased by : her parents, Edith Madden and John Francis Madden; her husband Gerald James Gallagher; and her daughter Jody (Peter). She is survived by : her former life partner Kenneth Delmar James; her children, Jolene James (Jody), English, Lynette (David), Mark, Jacqueline (Edward), Jeffrey and Matthew (Jill); her grandchildren, Keith, Kassandra, Kimberly, Tiffany, Johanna, Paloma, Antonio, Alvaro, Ashley, Abigail, James, Kayla, Sofia, Diego and Sadie Bird; and her great grandchildren, Shawn, Dean, Isaiah and Bryce.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home (64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (417 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522).
