With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Margherita of Dobbs Ferry, New York, who passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Santanastasio and Rose Santanastasio; her husband Ben Margherita; her sibling Blaise Santi; and her friend Ann Zangrilli.

She is survived by: her sister Josephine Pelletier (John); and her sons, Joseph Margherita (Delia) of Hastings and Ben Margherita (Paul Hart) of Brooklyn. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie's name may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or to the Kanas Center for Hospice Care.
