It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Joan Kilmer of Dover Plains, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Schaffer, Sr. and Edna Kniffen Schaffer; her husband Harvey E. Kilmer, Jr.; her sons, Harvey E. Kilmer, III and Wayne Paul Kilmer; and her siblings, Charlene Vail, Robin Schaffer, Jeff Schaffer and Alan Schaffer.

She is survived by : her daughter Julie Gregory (Robert) of Sharon, CT; her grandchildren, Kristopher Kilmer, Karissa LaBonte (Nick), Kasey Kilmer, Shyla Winsted (Wesley), Justin Gregory and Janay Gregory; her great grandchildren, Karah Kilmer, Haylynn Kilmer, Remy LaBonte and Bowen LaBonte; her sisters, Patricia Millard, Judy Gordon and Connie Rudkolf; and also Charles "Butch" Schaffer, Jr..
