We announce the death of Gary W. Lomber of Dryden, New York, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lomber and Helen Lomber; and his brother Kenneth Lomber. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy; his children, Jeff Lomber (Nancy), Bob Lomber (Pam), Lynnette Torgalski (Rob) and Dawn Kucerak (Steve); his grandchildren, Alyssa Bobos (Michael), Courtney Pryzbyla (Jonathan), Terra (Logan), Lynn, Rebecca Lomber, Kayla Cummins (Chris), Emily Torgalski, Amanda Suarez (Joe), Jeffrey Kucerak (Katie), Julia Torgalski and Joey Torgalski; his great grandchildren, John, Charlie, Hudson Bobos and Addison Lynn; his sisters, Gayle Lee and Cheryl Tarasek (Hank); and his nieces, Debbie Jaworowicz (Rick) and Jana Chavoustie (Gary).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Perkins Funeral Home (55 W Main St, Dryden, NY 13053). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Dryden Ambulance.
