He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille (Montgomery May) and Monte; his grandchild Leslie; and his adoptive mother Abby Breitstein. He is survived by: his significant other Eleanor Jean Porter; his daughters, Patty Van (Ray) of Bogart and Marianne May-Rodda (Phil); his son-in-law Charlie Mettler; his great grandchildren, Dan, Natalie "Lili" Van of Bogart, Sam and Benny May-Rodda; Mendel Breitstein, Aryeh, Ezra, Noam, Meital, Amram and Tehila. He is also survived by extended family and many, many, many friends.
