It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Monroe Sr. of Dryden, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Monroe and Ruth Harris Monroe. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Merihew Monroe; his children, Lynne Day (Don) of McLean, Thomas Monroe, Jr. (Maureen) of Cortland and Rick Monroe of Georgia; his grandchildren, Lane Day, Elizabeth Randall (Dustin), Deanna Day (Tristen Dewey), Deirdre Monroe (Tom Chappell), Scott Day, Martin Monroe and Natalie Day (Zander Johnson); his great grandchildren, Sophia and Jacob Randall; and his brothers, Roger Monroe of Syracuse, Frederick Monroe of Solon and Jack Monroe (Susan) of Solon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
