He was predeceased by: his sister Nellie Brewster. He is survived by: his brothers, George "Wally" Hemingway and Ralph J. Hemingway; his brother-in-law Howard Brewster; his nephew Mark Clay; and his niece Julie Howerton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
