It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte M. Canastra of Duanesburg, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Miller and Marie Birdsall (Pandelfo); her husband Richard Canastra; and her siblings, Paul Miller and Elizabeth McDougall.

She is survived by : her sons, Richard E. Canastra, Jr. (Kristen), Jeffrey Canastra (Sandra) and Brian Canastra; her siblings, Eleanor Largeteau (Donald), Lois "Cookie" Aierle (Skip) and Stephen Miller; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jr., Mathew, Melissa, Brian Jr. and Bianca Canastra. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White-Van Buren Funeral Home (1779 Main St, Delanson, NY 12053). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the White-VanBuren Funeral Home (1779 Main St, Delanson, NY 12053).
