We announce the death of Gordon D. Travis Sr. of Dundee, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 91. Gordon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his sons, Patrick and Randy; his half-brothers, Arnold and Francis Empson; and his siblings, Fred Travis Jr., Waneta Wayand and Anna Jean Forman.
He is survived by: his parents, Fred Travis and Edna Travis (Morse); his sons, Gordon'Gordie'D. Travis Jr. and Kyle J. Travis (Bridget) of Penn Yan; his grandchildren, Chelsea Backiel (Joseph), Darcie Travis, Nathaniel Travis, Rebecca Travis and Joshua Travis; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Aliyah, Nicholas and Elliot Travis.
