She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis A. Briggs and Elsie E. Briggs (Mortenson); her son Richard Lee Thompson; and her brother Thomas H. Briggs. She is survived by: her husband Bruce E. Thompson; her children, John S. Thompson (Rebecca) of Dundee, Jeffery E. Thompson (Lindsay) of Trenton, OH and Reita D. Roberts (Paul) of Penn Yan; her grandchildren, Dustyn (Elyssa), Tony (Meaghan) of Corrina, P. J., Amanda (Clair), Josh (Karlene), Jordan, Ashton (Ashton), Katelyn and Lola; and her siblings, Ronald N. Briggs (Cindy) of Pulteney, NY, Lois Kay Hotaling of Lakeland, FL, Laurie A. Sworts (John) of Dundee, Dawn M. Bacher of Dundee, Stacy E. Wormuth (John) of Penn Yan and Kim Fultz (Kevin) of Dundee. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and very special in-laws.
