With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene Ross of Dunkirk, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Ross to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jopek and Josephine Jopek (Banach); her sons, James Ross and Ronald Ross; and her brothers, Edward, Ronald and Donald Jopek.

She is survived by: her husband Julian Ross; her daughters, Donna Howlett (Charles) and Julie Wakelee (Denny); her daughter-in-law Carolyn Ross (Vicari); her grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" Howlett (Lindsey), Nicole Degenfelder, Pamela Ross, Jennifer Ross, Kaitlyn Wakelee, Emily Wakelee and Allison Wakelee; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Owen Howlett and Oakley Degenfelder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Arlene's memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation; 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
