She was predeceased by : her parents, Carmelo Figueroa Sr. and Angela Figueroa (Espada); her sons, Michael Anthony Rivera and Jose Antonio Rivera; and her siblings, Aida Bauza and Pablo Figueroa.
She is survived by : her husband Jose Vazquez Sr.; her children, Aida Rivera, Miriam Rivera, Angelo Rivera and Lydia Velez (Victor); and her siblings, Alba Ramos, Miriam Wilson, Mary Adorno, Carmelo Figueroa Jr. and Oscar Figueroa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
