With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David B. Reed of Dunkirk, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David B. Reed to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Reed and Dorothy Reed of Dunkirk, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Lois Reed (Johnson); his children, Jeffrey Reed of Rochester, NY, Margie Carlson (David) of Fredonia, NY and Melinda Heatley (Tim) of Greenville, SC.; his grandchildren, Jack Carlson, Nora, Mason, Sarah and Wyatt Bandhauer; his sister Jackie Tietz; and his godson James Tietz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester, NY 14626 for the care they provided to Dave and his family.
