Howard left this world on August 4, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his brother Michael J. Gloss; his stepfather Albert Fisk; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Tefft and James Tiernan. He is survived by: his wife Mary J. (Tye); his children, Nichole Derenda (Gary) of North Buffalo and Michael Stephen of Orchard Park; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Cristian; his sisters, Shannon Fisk of Brocton, Sheila Gloss of California, Lisa Eggleston (Todd) and Penny Gummo (Al Pacos) of Fredonia; his sister-in-law Patricia Tefft of Florida; and his mothers, Adrienne Kubasik Fisk of Brocton and Patricia Gloss of Fredonia.

In lieu of flowers, we're very sure Howie would like donations to go to the Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department, or a local food bank, or any helpful charity.
