She was predeceased by: her husband William D. Cook; her parents, William E. Burke and Maude Burke (Buttele); and her siblings, Margaret Poncharik, Ellen Burke and Michael Burke.
She is survived by: her sons, William (Michelle) and Richard Cook; her grandchildren, Nick Scheffield, Allie, Daniel, Jonathan and Cameron Cook; her great grandchild Ember Sheffield; and her brother Rev. Richard Burke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc. (56 E Doughty St, Dunkirk, NY 14048). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church (328 Washington Ave, Dunkirk, NY 14048).
