She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gustafson and Mildred McCoy Gustafson; her husband G. William Skinner; her brother Richard Gustafson; and her close friend Frank Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Weimer (Michael), Patricia Randle and Deborah Nelson (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jason Weimer, Elizabeth Baley (Sean), Lauren Corwin (Tim), Carolyn Kosinski (Joe), Gregory Weimer (Sarah), Kristine Ritzler (Charles), Anne Randle and Emily Nelson; and her sister-in-law Elsie Gustafson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
