We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Ott (Freckleton) Miner of Eagle Mills, New York, born in Troy, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Ott and Edith Coonradt Ott. She is survived by: her former husband Clarence Freckleton; her spouse Francis Miner; her children, Darlene Shanahan (John) of Troy, Kathleen Buckley (Ken) of Melrose, Charlene Zampier (Bob) of Melrose and David Freckleton (Doreen) of Peoria, Illinois; and her stepsons, Stephen Miner of Troy and Robert Miner of Cropseyville. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy had requested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made, in her memory, to 'The Gideons International', P.O. Box 743, Troy, NY 12181 or by going on line to: http://www.gideons.org.

“In loving memory of Dorothy Ott (Freckleton) Miner, I am very blessed to have such a Godly mother-in-law. She truly is an example of being Christ-like and showing everyone around her the Love of God. When we visited and stayed with her in her house, I saw first hand her faithfulness of reading her Bible and praying every morning. I'm rejoicing with her because she is now in the arms of Jesus Christ in her eternal home and I know I will see her again. Peace, Prayers and Blessings.”
