She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph N. Sullivan and Augusta Lindeman Sullivan; her husband Andrew B. Strait, Jr.; her brothers, Edward and Lawrence Sullivan; and her nephew Mark Sullivan.

She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence E. Strait and Douglas A. Strait; her grandsons, Gregory H. and Alexander J. Strait; and her sister Nancy L. Sullivan. She is also survived by three nephews and their children.
