He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles West and Helen West; and his sister Patricia Firth. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kaye" West; and his nieces and nephews, David Gullett (Wendy), Robin Gatarz (William), Brenda Smith (William) and Kristopher Eastman.
