It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice M. Bender of East Amherst, New York, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Bender (Laurie); her grandson Alex; her parents, Robert Rafferty and Emilia Rafferty; her sister Mary Baisley (late Thomas); and also, Thomas Bender and James Bender (Patricia).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Guy, Robert Bender, Katherine Hazlett (Thomas), Martin Bender (Mary), Nora Bender (Heather Kurtz) and Susan Szymendera (Paul); and her grandchildren, Kristine, Sam, Logan, Ashley, Austin, Carli, Kyle, Zachary, Lauren, Michael, Miles, Delia, Allie, Ryan and Sean. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
