James E. Egloff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Egloff of East Amherst, New York, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Egloff to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brother George F. Egloff; and his siblings-in-law, Emilia Pontecorvo, Clelia DiPalma, Eva Criswell, Elizabeth DelMonte and Theresa Laven.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Mary Egloff; his children, James F. Egloff, Susan Rabinowitz (Matthew) and Jennifer Makowski (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Mary Grace, Nicholas, Joseph, Kate Gozdziak (Jakob), Lauren Rabinowitz and Zachary Rabinowitz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226). An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (6843 Tonawanda Creek Rd, Lockport, NY 14094).
