Sofia (East Amherst, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter J. Sofia; her son Peter J. Sofia, MD (Tanya); and her siblings, Agnes Guliano (Daniel), Joseph (Marilyn) and Sara Panzarella.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Meilander (Frank) of San Diego, CA, Mark (Jeannette) of Plainwell, MI, Gary (Donna) of Redondo Beach, CA and Beth McDonald (James) of Crystal Beach. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
