He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Schneider; and his parents, Charles Schneider and Rose Schneider. He is survived by: his sons, Roger Schneider (Josie) and Brian Schneider (Eileen); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Brianna, Michael, Erin, Sean, Jeff and Sarah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Roberts memory.
