He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Beitz and Marjorie Beitz; and his siblings, Maureen Craver (Paul), Thomas Beitz (Trisha) and Joseph Beitz (Ellen).
He is survived by: his wife Carole Beitz; his children, Laura Ramsey (Jonathan) and Christopher Valentine (Justine); his grandchildren, Finn and Ellie Ramsey; and his siblings, Francis Beitz, Marjorie Bennett (Robert), Michael Beitz and Daniel Beitz (Christine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
