He was predeceased by: his parents, Faith B. McDonnell and John Q. McDonnell; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his son Jonathan "Jack" McDonnell; his siblings, John "Hubba" (late Brenda), Edward (Ruth), Peter (Sue), Mary Ordal, Jean Covelli (late Elmer) and Nancy Reynolds (Rodney); and the mother of his child Tamara McDonnell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
