He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Ellis; and his sister Rebecca Walter (James). He is survived by: his children, Carrie Martin (Robert) and Kirk Thomson; his grandchildren, Ashley (Ethan), Whipple, Amber Busch (Christopher) and Alexis Hooker (Mitchell); his great grandchildren, Logan, Ally Mae, Raylee and Bryson; his father William Ellis; and his siblings, Jennifer Wilkinson (John), Sarah, Anna, John Henry, Henry, Nora and Adalyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in William's memory to Alzheimer's Association of WNY.
