He is survived by: his wife Naureen Perkins; his brother Randy Perkins; his children, Janel Blackburn (David), Brandon Perkins (Leslie), Jonica LeRoux (Matt) and Danae Ronsani (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Gil, Norah, Eoin, Eben, Finnigan, Simon, Peregrine, Elliot, Edmund and Theodore.

He was a founding member of the Capital District Chapter of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and a founding member of Team Unadilla Motocross team.
