With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aida Luz Sanchez of East Elmhurst, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Aida Luz may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Aida Luz touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conway Funeral Home (41-45 58th St, Woodside, NY 11377). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (25-2 80th St, East Elmhurst, NY 11370). An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377).
