He is survived by: his nephew Emmett Day; his wife Heather Grimmett; his sister Brenda Toms; his brother-in-law Ron Toms; his nibling Clela Toms (Sam Wackerle); his great-nephews, Maddox and Otis; his niece Deanna Toms; his mother-in-law Kathryn Montross; his uncle Todd Akins; his brother Jason Day (Jodi Day); his niece Reegan Day; his brother Skip Montross (Sherri Montross); his niece Mia; his nephew Jack Montross; and his pets, Buddy of Muffin, L. G., Gray, White-Nose and Pig.
