Paul M. Scher Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul M. Scher of East Greenbush, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Scher and Mary Devlin Scher. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ida Gundrum Scher (Gable); his children, Mark R. Gundrum (Dayna Maniccia) of Albany, Carrie E. Sabisch (Jan), Poestenkill, Bryan C. Gundrum (Catherine Ann) of Ocoee, FL and Matthew P. Scher of Troy; his grandsons, Dustin R. Moffre, Joseph W. Gundrum and Daniel M. Gundrum; his brother-in-law Charles A. Gable, 3rd; his pet Maggie; and his sisters, Jeanne Trawinski (Peter) of Statesville, NC, Elaine Dupras (Louis) and Kathleen Switzer (late William) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
