He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Salzer, Sr. and Martha Salzer (Sisson); his former wife Marilyn Jean Salzer (Coon); his son Marc Kerner Salzer; and his siblings, Joseph Salzer Jr. and Martha Keller (Salzer).
He is survived by: his wife Regina Salzer-Handy; his sons, Adam D. Salzer (Laurie), Scott T. Salzer and Todd E. Salzer; his grandson Alex Salzer (Rachel Main); and his great grandchildren, Owen and Waylan. He is also survived by sister.
