He is survived by: his daughter Alanna Young; his parents, Theresa Young and Robert Young Sr.; his siblings, Samantha Rodriguez, Russell Young and Tyler Young; his grandparents, Anne Field, Russell Field and Dorothy Sheehan; and his aunt Michele Cadger.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yardley & Pino Funeral Home (94 Pantigo Rd, East Hampton, NY 11937). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity R. C. Church (79 Buell Ln, East Hampton, NY 11937). A burial was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Cemetery (180 Cedar St, East Hampton, NY 11937).
On Tuesday, January 6th around 10pm Robert took his final breaths as he prepared to give the gift of life to others through his donation.
