With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen B. Sakitis of East Islip, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eileen Griffin and William Griffin. She is survived by: her husband John Sakitis; her children, Kevin, William and Megan; her sisters, Eileen, Lorraine and Sharon; her granddaughters, Olivia and Amelia; and her siblings' children, Nicholas, Tyler, Ryan, Brandon, Bryan, Michael and Erin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
