He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Walsh, Sr. and Margaret Mulligan Walsh; and his siblings, Patricia, Mary Anne and James.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Maryann Mattonen (Kevin), Frances Walsh, Kathleen Clements (Mark) and Michael Monaco (Kristen); his grandchildren, Conner, Katelyn and Diane; and his siblings, Jesse Rudolph (Paul) and Thomas Walsh (Louise). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home (445 E Meadow Ave, East Meadow, NY 11554). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (720 Merrick Ave, Merrick, NY 11566). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
