He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Leonard (Beirne) and William Leonard; and his granddaughter Nicole. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Lamendola; his children, Donald Leonard (Dana), Michael Leonard (Barbara), Dennis Leonard (Elizabeth), Julie Bartolomeo (Jimmy), Kathleen Berkowitz (Paul) and Edward Leonard (Mairead); his sister Clare Semer; his cousin Kenneth Leonard; his grandchildren, Kerri (Stephanie), Michael Jr. (Ashley), Joseph (Alexa), Stephanie, Kaitlyn (Nicholas), Paulie (Josephine), Amanda, Buddy, Charlie, Will, Logan, Samantha, Tommy and Caigan; and his great grandchildren, Penelope, Mackenzie and Lilia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
