He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. and Margaret; and his sister Rose Martin. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Van Valkenburg (late John), Michael (Krissy), Margaret Knack (late Greg), William (Toni), Daniel (Annemarie), Andrew (Lisa) and Joseph (Kristina); and his wife Jane. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
