“Mary Beth, Stephanie and Lynn, my name is Doug Latrenta and I was a friend to your husband / dad / and brother......we were Jr. High through High School friends, played football together for many years and class mates. I can say I knew Billy very well, for 4 months a years we saw each other every day for about 3 hours or more playing a game we both loved.....football. I knew his Mom well, she kept us "under control" during lunch and his Dad was a tough one, and Billy was just like him!”

“I have told this story to many of my HS friends about Billy (but never to Billy).....we both played defense on the football team, he was the linebacker and I was the defensive back....he played right in front of me. There were many times a big 220lb fullback came right at us both....Billy would tackle them head on and I was praying he would, otherwise I was road kill......boy did I respect Billy Hydo! My sincerest condolences, may Billy be blessed in Heaven! Please stay well!”
