She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ransom and Louise Ransom; and her brother David Ransom. She is survived by: her husband David Shields; her children, Michael Shields (Kaitlyn) and Suzanne Price (Dan); her siblings, Sue Mors (Terry), Sandra McConnell, Thomas Ransom and Diane Arnold (Robert); her nephews, Jeremy McConnell (Darlene) and Kevin Mors; her niece Miranda Mors; and her great-niece Madison Louise.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Nancy's name to Brighton Volunteer Ambulance or the National Kidney Foundation.
