With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel G. Poletta of East Rochester, New York, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his son Sam Poletta; and his daughter-in-law Shirley Porter. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Poletta (DiPerno); his children, Vicky Lima (Joe), Tom Poletta, MaryBeth Barber (Steve) and Frank Poletta (Beverly); and his nephews, Raymond Tramonto, Jim Schiano, Les Abbamonte, Paul Tramonto, Jim Hearn and Tony Tramonto.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
