He was predeceased by : his father Chester Smith. He is survived by : his mother Pearl Smith; his wife Maureen; his children, Jodi Pereto, Ryan Smith (Cait Newby) and Kathleen Kearney (Kyle); his grandsons, Alec and Chase Pereto; and his siblings, Terry, Cindy Ingles (Jim Purcell), Pam Kerr (Tim), Paul (Lisa), Elaine Monroe (Steve) and Judy Mantel (Stephen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
