She was predeceased by : her husband William Hunter; her parents, Joan Poplawski Roach and Frank Geremski; her stepfather Russell Roach; and her brother Robert "Gus" Geremski.

She is survived by : her children, Mark Hunter (Shannon), Michael Hunter and Melissa Avery (Daniel); her grandchildren, Emily Hunter, Mikayla Avery, Erin Hunter and Colin Avery; her niece Lynn Gilbert; and her nephew Rob Geremski.
