Francesco Colosi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francesco Colosi of East Syracuse, New York, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francesco Colosi to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Colosi and Antonia Colosi (Calapa); his wife Carmela Colosi (Perrone); and his siblings, Joseph, Ninai, Angelino and Maria.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Colosi (Joanne), Antoinette Casciano (Frank) and Sam Colosi (Tricia); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Marc, Marissa, Alyssa, Taylor, Kayla and Frank; his siblings-in-law, Anna Colosi, Joseph Perrone and Frank Strange; and his caregivers, Kaela, Casey and La Quoya. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Church (229 W Yates St, East Syracuse, NY 13057). An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (800 Grant Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Matthew's Church, 229 W. Yates St., E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
