He was predeceased by : his parents, Justus Pfaff and Katharina Pfaff; his siblings, Annaliese and Georg; and his significant other Mary Schreiner.
He is survived by : his children, Catherine Riley (Michael), Margaret Shea (Sean) and Richard Pfaff; his granddaughters, Meghan Thomas (Jeffrey), Erin Newton (Jason), Siobhan Shea and Fiona Shea; and his great grandchildren, Laila and Maggie Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
