Mary J. (Lavigno) Primo Obituary

The passing of Mary J. (Lavigno) Primo of East Syracuse, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 3, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, Patrick Lavigno and Josephine Lavigno; her siblings, Michael Lavigno and Patricia; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald May and Fred Primo.

She is survived by: her children, David Primo (Kim), Steven Primo, Mary Beth Primo, Nancy Donkel (Scott), Patty Primo (Chris Scriba), Amy Burns (Michael) and John Primo; and her daughter-in-law Betsy Primo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Et St. Ann Church (104 Academy St, Manlius, NY 13104).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Services, 1654 W. Onondaga Street, Syracuse, NY 13204, or Hospice of CNY and the Finger Lakes, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
