Sandra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sandra will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Snyder and Margaret Harrison Snyder; her husband Phil; and her brothers, Donald Synder, Fred Snyder and Bill Synder.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis VanAuken (Lori), Randy VanAuken (Monica), Jamie VanAuken (Lisa) and Jeffrey VanAuken; and her sister Kathy Companion. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Home of Jamie and Lisa VanAuken (7272 Myers Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057).
